It was 7:30 AM and Kaede was actually at school early. Shocking. Why was she there so early? Easy question. Kaede had completed all of her homework the night before and studied for her test today. Again, shocking. With all of her work done for once, she had a reasonable explanation for being in an exceptionally good mood. But why the hell did she come to school so freakin early! Barely anyone was there and the halls were empty. Boring. Kaede decided that she would never again come to school this early again. Besides, she missed the rush of sprinting to school to get there before the final bell rang.
Kaede took a seat on the steps leading up to the front doors and pulled out her cell phone. Hopefully it would distract her until the bell rang. She opened Angry Birds on her phone and quickly became lost in the game. She yelled, shot dirty looks, and almost punched the phone whenever she missed one of the targets.
Kaede didn't notice that other students began to lounge on the front steps around her since she was so focused on her game. Hell, she probably looked out of her mind yelling at her phone like a crazed lunatic...
(Meh... -_-;; Open to anyone ^_^)

Ever hear don't judge a book by it's cover? How about there's more to a person than meets the eye? Looks can be deceiving? Well that's certainly the case here. Alyssa Strife, preferably called Aly, seemed like a pretty run of the mill highschool girl. Blonde hair full of all kinds of neon streaks held up in to perfectly symmetrical pigtails, and striking blue eyes, as well as a bright smile that almost always graced her lips. When she -grudgingly- wore the uniform she looked like the perfect highschool cheerleader prep, especially considering that she was always careful to make sure that it was in relative good condition. She wore the tie, unlike most, and the only thing that was out of place were the big pink and black headphones around her neck. All that in combination with the happy grin she always wore it wasn't hard to see why most people would mistake her for just your average girl. Which she would be, if average included being an ex-military member, having lost a loved one for her own life to be saved, loosing the loved one of her brother, stopping a madman, and being presumed dead by all she cared about was considered average. It's not? Damn. Oh well. Those hauntings from her past where really starting to wear on her. She barely slept at all the night before, and waking up to an empty house tore a hole in her aching heart. She missed her brother. She missed her brother and all his friends. The bond they all shared was that of one big, crazy, dysfunctional family. She missed that feeling of acceptance that she had with them. Sure, people here liked her, but they didn't know anything. They knew nothing of her past, or the inhumane performance enhancing experiments, yes experiments, that had been preformed on her. Granted, it wasn't like you see in the movies when suddenly she could leap over buildings in a single bound, or throw cars over her head, but she was most certainly stronger than someone her size should ever be. That's part of the reason she why never took part in any of the sports, it wouldn't be fair. Of course, most people assumed it was because she wasn't "sporty". Ignorant, uninformed, little pricks. She had her own reasons for doing and not doing things, and she'd rather keep them to herself. Her past was a sore subject for her. Sighing, the blonde raver made her way up the street towards the school. Her restless night had her waking up at all sorts of odd hours in the morning and after it hit about five thirty she said screw it and started getting ready for school. Even managed to grab a shower along with some other few luxuries from being up so early. Approaching the front steps of the school, the DJ found herself raising an eyebrow at the exuberant blonde playing with her phone. She reminds me of that other kid I've seen around here... Naruto, I think his name was. She thought as she neared the, apparently mildly insane, girl. Deciding she might as well try to make some friends and possibly ease her pain Aly approached the girl. "What did that poor phone ever do to you?" she asked in a teasing tone.
~OOC~ Wow. Angsty for Aly. xD
