For those that weren't members of the Original NYB, I'm Rin Aki ( Or just Aki), and I was the old Global Moderator. Like everyone, I was extremely saddened when Bing announced the old site had been shut down. I saw the email from Bing, and I thought 'Hey, Bing's back! Now we can get our threads running again'. The reason for this, was because Bing had 15 characters, and most of my threads were with them. I clicked on the bookmark and...
nothing. It said it couldn't find the server. I refreshed it. Still nothing. I then opened the email. It was my first site that had shut down, and like everyone else, I was heartbroken.
I had recently quit another site, because most of my time was spent on NYB and I hardly went on there. So, I was left without a site to RP on. I began searching for others sites, I had even considered making a site of my own.
Which was why I was completely overjoyed when I got an email from Ashurri, saying that herself and Hawky were reviving it NYB! So, here we are!
... I don't know why I told you all that, but I guess I'm excited. So, to start the site off, Aki bought some fireworks!
